Pre-Levi

I love this set of pictures that Emily took. Ruthie is so silly. And Brandon looks good/normal in all of them :)
Definitely missing the little guy in these. He's already such a big part of our family, it seems strange not seeing him in our family photo!

By the way, Levi is two months old today!
(I couldn't leave out a picture of the big guy on his two-month birthday!--here he is as a caterpillar.)

Happy Happy Birthday!

(I actually did start this post on her second birthday...)

Dear Ruthie,
You are a big girl now--2 years old! And you seem so much older than that. You are such a sweet girl, and hilarious too! You make me smile and laugh every day. I want you to know how special you are, and how proud we are of you. Here is a short list of the things you can do on your second birthday:

-count to 17, skipping only 14 and 15.
-recite most of the alphabet, and recognize most of the letters
-repeat anything
-sing many songs
-run
-almost jump
-thing you say most: "Do it again!"
-know the shapes Circle, Square, Triangle, Rectangle, and sometimes Pentagon
-'help' with cooking, dishes, sweeping, laundry...
-give the BEST hugs and kisses

We love you, Ruthie, and can't wait to see what the next year will bring!
