There are so many more than 10 things, it was hard to narrow it down.
We can't believe it has been a whole year since we first met you, Ruthie! We love you so much, and thank God for you every day. We can't wait to see what you'll do next!

Dress Up

I was organizing Ruthie's clothes the other day and decided to see what she would do with shoes on. I really haven't put actual shoes on her yet, since she doesn't even walk yet, and it just seemed like a pain. I also put a headband on her. Surprisingly she kept it on!

New Dance Moves

Ruthie recently showed off her new and improved dance moves to Emily and Josiah. Shake it, Ruthie!

Hello All! I apologize for the lack of blogging for the last 2+ weeks. It's been busy around here! I hope you've been checking out our photo album, though. I have updated that with photos from our week-long trip Up North and some visits from friends when we got back. Here are a few photos of Ruthie enjoying some new foods:

Our Daughter...the Puppy Dog

I don't know if this is typical of all babies...after all I only have the one. But a lot of things that Ruthie does remind me of a puppy. And I don't mean that in an insulting way at all, but a very very cute way :)
For instance, the constant drooling....

The tongue hanging out...

She's learned it is much more efficient to carry items (especially socks) in her mouth when crawling than to try to hold them in her hand...
She goes to the door when she wants to go outside...
She loves to chew on shoes...

...and toilet paper...

...and pretty much anything...

not to mention the crawling on all fours...
And making a mess on the floor wherever she goes (thank goodness it is not the typical mess that puppies leave, although I'm sure that will come with potty training)...
Last, but not least, the big Puppy Dog eyes...
